Collection: Antique necklaces

Antique South Indian necklaces are desired for their old-world charm, craftsmanship, and rich symbolism. These necklaces are often made using traditional methods, temple-inspired motifs, and handcrafted detailing. They have a matte, dull or oxidised gold finish rather than glossy and are embellished with ruby, emerald, pearls and kemp stones. These ancient jewellery pieces are usually heavier than modern jewellery which symbolises wealth and status. Each piece may be slightly different due to the handcrafted nature. The common styles we sell are temple necklaces, kasu mala necklaces, mango mala necklaces, guttapusalu necklaces, kemp stone necklaces and haram necklaces.
